Welcome to Studio Baker Salon, a single chair hair salon owned by Alex Baker. I am a Boston based queer hairstylist who has been working in the North End since 2017. Thanks for checking me out! I specialize in lived in hair cuts and colors, gender neutral cuts (both long and short), grow-out cuts, bobs, balayage, foil highlighting, global/platinum lightening, fantasy (rainbow!) haircolor, and full coverage haircolor (reds especially!). I have also worked with curly hair my whole career and constantly strive to hone my craft for my curly clients. I also love children's haircuts, any age (yes, including under a year!) My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, comfortable environment for all who visit while putting the clients' wants, needs, lifestyle, and humanity above all else. Cancellation Policy

To ensure optimal service and availability for all my clients, I kindly request that you provide me with a minimum of 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellations. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service price will be charged to your account on file. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in allowing me to efficiently manage my schedule and accommodate every client. I understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly. However, not showing up for a scheduled appointment impacts my schedule and other clients. Therefore, if there is no prior notice given and you do not show up for your appointment, I will charge the full amount of the scheduled services to your account. I recommend that you contact me in advance if your plans change so we can reschedule accordingly and avoid unnecessary charges.
